His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa will give a teaching and the initiation of Vajrapani on the 9th and 10th January 2010.
Vajrapani
« Holder of the Thunderbolt Scepter" in sankrit is an emanation of the primordial Buddha Vajradhara or Samantabhadra, Vajrapani is the embodiment of the wisdom and power of all the Buddhas.
Vajrapani is often depicted with Manjushree, incarnation of wisdom, and Avalokiteshvara incarnation of compassion. Vajrapani is represented in a wrathful form,
conveying the power to subdue external, inner and secret obstacles as well as dispel all negativities and heal the sicknesses caused by nagas.
